Coaching is, to a great degree, about the client's experience and the coach's empathy. Mine comes from having faced many of the same challenges that I imagine you have. In fact, except for the "dysfunctional team," at one time or another, I have dealt with pretty much everything on the adjacent list. And were it not for the amazing teams that I worked with in the OR, the hospital, and my office, I wouldn't have dealt with things for as long or as well as I did.
