For more than two decades, I have accompanied thousands of patients on their quest for health and wellness. While the bulk of my efforts have been as a weight loss surgeon, I have also worked tirelessly to help people find joy and fulfillment as they faced challenges in many areas of their lives.
Mid-career, I went back to school for my MBA and, when I finished that, to iPEC to hone my coaching skills and to become a certified coach. I am now energized and excited to make coaching my full time career and to help fellow healthcare professionals and business executives become their healthiest, happiest, and most fulfilled and successful selves. In 2023, I began coaching at Harvard Business School (HBS) in their Executive Education Department and more specifically in the Program for Leadership Development (PLD) and also in the Advanced Management Program (AMP).
Life as a healthcare provider or business executive will never be easy, but I know that working together, we can make it easier.
It's time to help healers heal & leaders lead.
Because engaging in all three provides a personal and professional high that I haven't found in anything else. Coaching is what I know I was born to do and conversation is one of my favorite ways to engage with people. Connection almost effortlessly flows from both.
I am relaxing and enjoying a "relatively" empty nest with my amazing wife Jordana who is also a coach, as well as an attorney, and a Professional Development expert.
My two adult sons and daughter-in-law are frequent visitors to our Maine home which makes for some of my happiest moments. That, and when Boston sports teams are winning championships or I am walking the beach with Jordana and collecting sea glass.
